This discussion was part of “COVID-19 and the Future of Higher Education,” a virtual summit hosted by AEI’s Academic Programs department and Initiative on Faith & Public Life on May 27, 2020. This breakout session focused on the particular challenges facing Christian colleges and universities in this time, and the important contribution that institutions of Christian higher education make to American society. Panelists included Gayle Beebe (President of Westmont College), Kevin Brown (President of Asbury University), and Shirley Hoogstra (President of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities).
