Jonathan Teubner

Jonathan D. Teubner is consulting economist at LBMC LLC, a firm in Washington, DC specializing in economic and financial-market forecasting and economic policy, and visiting faculty in religious studies at the University of Virginia. Jonathan is currently finishing his PhD from the University of Cambridge (Trinity College) in medieval theological and social thought, focusing on the influence of Augustine of Hippo on the spiritual foundations of the western intellectual tradition.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University with a BS in economics and of Yale University with a MA in religion, he has published essays and reviews in Philosophy and Social Criticism, Reviews in Religion and Theology, and Marginalia. He is working on the views of wealth, poverty, work and unemployment in the western Christian tradition.
