Values & Capitalism on Campus: The King’s College

Monday, October 28, 2013 – 12:00pm

On October 28, 2013, two members of the Values & Capitalism team traveled to Manhattan to meet with students, faculty, and administrative leaders at The King’s College.

Josh Good, our program manager, gave a “lunchtime lecture” on the profound consequences of changes in U.S. family formation, which was attended by the college president, several faculty members, and more than 80 students.

Afterwards, both team members met with newly appointed president, Dr. Greg Thornbury, who discussed the school’s “Politics, Philosophy, and Economics” major and ways to potentially integrate the project book series in that track.

Later that afternoon, our program development associate led a meeting with several student leaders about a new Values & Capitalism executive council that will be launched this fall at King’s.
