We are proud and honored to welcome Dr. Larry Arnn, the president of Hillsdale College, to “The RJ Moeller Show” this week. Dr. Arnn is the twelfth president of Hillsdale College. He received his B.A. in 1974 from Arkansas State University, his M.A. in government in 1976 and his Ph.D. in government in 1985 from the Claremont Graduate School.
He also studied in England from 1977 to 1980, first as a research student in International History at the London School of Economics, and then in Modern History at Worcester College, Oxford University. While in England, he also served as director of research for Sir Martin Gilbert, the official biographer of Winston Churchill.
He returned to the United States in 1980 to become an editor for Public Research, Syndicated, and from 1985-2000 he served as president of the Claremont Institute. Dr. Arnn is on the board of directors of The Heritage Foundation, the Henry Salvatori Center of Claremont McKenna College and The Claremont Institute. He is the author of the phenomenal new book “The Founders Key,” which we highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about the unique form of government we have.
For our purposes today, we wanted to have Dr. Arnn on to talk about the connection our Declaration of Independence has both to the Constitution itself, and to our society today. We also chat about Winston Churchill, the work of Hillsdale College and Gov. Romney’s selection of Paul Ryan to be his running mate.
In the second segment, our “Better Know an Entrepreneur” series welcomes the president of Armor Games Inc., Dan McNeely, to the program. Dan is a graduate of Biola University and after a few years in the corporate world, turned his love of video games into a small business that has grown by leaps and bounds. Entrepreneurs are all around us, and simply by tracing their steps to success backward, we find common themes and characteristics. You’re going to to enjoy hearing Dan’s story, and we encourage you to check out Armor Games.
