Job Description
The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) seeks a program manager for its Values & Capitalism project, a project to engage college students and faculty with a strong emphasis on reaching out to evangelical campuses. The project, which explores the moral and material nature of a market economy, includes campus debates, campus speaking events, a faculty network, national conferences, and a book series. The principal objective of the Values & Capitalism program is to promote AEI’s mission on campus.
Job responsibilities for the position include the active daily and long-term management of all aspects of the project. Tasks include, but are not limited to: strategizing ways to accomplish the project mission; implementing project strategy and reporting metrics to executives; supervising events; engaging student leaders and faculty on campus; overseeing publicity and marketing activities across mediums; and producing a series of books and curriculum in conjunction with AEI scholars and the Values & Capitalism team.
Required Experience
This position requires entrepreneurial experience, preferably from the idea to the execution stage. The position requires excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills. The ideal candidate would have experience with program management, marketing, and new media. Familiarity with the evangelical college community is strongly preferred.
