Sydney is a junior economics and political science major at Samford University and was selected as a 2021 Blog Contributor for the Faith & Public Life blog. She is interested in economic and research-driven public policy aimed at expanding opportunity, promoting freedom, and reducing racial and income inequality. She has had the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the field through research assistant work, academic paper writing, and think tank and research-based internships. After graduating with an economics degree, she hopes to obtain a master’s degree in economic policy.
